Workspaces, projects and media
Organize durable projects and reuse uploaded, stock or generated media safely.
Projects
Projects are durable editable sources. The workspace can search and sort them, and keeps image and video projects clearly identified by format and dimensions. There is no active-project quota in the public V2 project model.
Create a project with its final aspect ratio when possible. You can also declare named aspect variants, but every variant still needs a visual crop and text-wrap review.
Media library
The media library stores images, video, audio and fonts. Media added from stock search or AI generation becomes a normal owned media record before it is used by a layer.
| Source | What happens |
|---|---|
| File upload | The file is inspected and stored in the workspace |
| Public URL import | JsonCut fetches, validates and pins a safe copy |
| Stock search | The selected result is imported with source metadata |
| AI generation | Accepted outputs are saved as editable project media |
Do not copy short-lived preview URLs into a source. Projects and templates use the returned jsoncut-media://... reference.
Names and structure
Use names that describe the role, not the current content: Product photo, Opening headline, Voiceover or Price badge. Those names remain useful when the layer becomes variable or is reused by an Agent.
Deleting media
Studio prevents unsafe assumptions about referenced assets. Before deleting media, check which projects or templates still use it. For the exact public upload and deletion behavior, see Media uploads and inspection.
