AI Director, Assistant and media generation
Build or refine projects conversationally while keeping every accepted result editable.
JsonCut separates project direction from media generation.
| Tool | Scope |
|---|---|
| AI Director | Discusses, builds and refines a video project, including layers, scenes, motion and media |
| Image Assistant | Proposes changes to the current image composition before they replace the visible version |
| Media generation | Creates images, video clips, voiceover, music or sound effects for the current project |
Review before accepting
An AI response is not the final artifact. Ask for a bounded change, inspect the proposed or visible result, then keep editing the accepted layers. Project version history provides a stable point to return to.
Generated media
Generation operations are asynchronous. Depending on the selected operation, Studio accepts a prompt plus bounded controls such as aspect ratio, duration, voice, pace or variant count. Generated results appear as project media and are not hidden inside the Agent message.
Fast and higher-quality model choices can differ in credit cost. The current Studio interface shows the relevant cost before generation; public pricing is described on the pricing page rather than hard-coded into this contract guide.
Productive prompts
Describe the outcome and the part that may change:
Shorten the opening to two seconds, keep the product shot and brand palette, and add a clearer final call to action.
For a new visual direction that spans multiple turns, you can optionally use a cut.md Agent brief so audience, locked rules, media policy and quality checks remain explicit. It is not required for Studio editing or export.
